Lithodora, a new spring colorway!
Lithodora!
New yarn colorway in the webshop now! I have been seeing so much blooming lithodora on my morning walks. It is such an intense blue/violet, we went a little softer for the yarn colorway but included all those brilliant golden yellows from the center of the blooms. If you don't know which plant I am talking about, check this out. It has delicate blossoms but Lithodora is tougher than it seems, and it is serving as a good reminder to me that we are also pretty tough!
Odell Vest!
New pattern out today from local Portland knitwear designer, Karel Chan. I love this understated little top knit up in our Maven base! The first sample incorporates Fae into a slipped stitch design and the Isle version (shown here) omits that detail.
I met Karel when she came to our first Knitter's Who Act movie nights (I think she even won the event prize?! ). Her designs are beautiful and of course I love the Pacific Northwest inspiration. The Odell vest is knit sideways - quick & cute!
Studio Exclusives
Mini Tasseled Scissors in blue (as pictured). Learn-To-Knit kits have been restocked, I love seeing all the swatches and scarf beginnings from so many new knitters!!
We have also restocked my favorite set of cable stitch holders, those new pink & gold lacquer scissors and our mini crochet hooks which had sold out so fast.
Things I like 🖤
Are you a sewist? All of this hanging out at home has given me time to really dive into some sewing! I consider myself an adventurous beginner and here are the patterns I have been experimenting with:
These cute pants I have been test sewing for Janet Celeste!
I think it is all those buttons that I really love so much about the Estuary Skirt from Sew Liberated - making more than one of these!
I am going to try some of the more tailored pants from Anna Allen Clothing once I get a few simpler styles accomplished.
