Rachael & Lee will be leading our Crafting Circle every Thursday from 4pm-7pm at the shop. There is no need to RSVP!

Meet Rachael & Lee

Tell us a bit about yourself:

Rachael: I am always inspired by others' creative ventures. Chat with me about something you're passionate about and I will meet you on that level of excitement.

Lee: I am a self proclaimed nomad - having grown up in Florida, and moving to California, Tennessee, back to California, and now settle in Portland.

I've been knitting and sewing for about 20 years now. Living in my first cold winter state, I'm so excited to be able to knit more sweaters!

RD: If you weren't knitting, what would you be doing- what are your other hobbies?

Rachael: If you don't see me knitting, catch me swimming and collecting seashells. I love being a nerd!

Lee: My dog Bodhi and I love to go on outdoor adventures. Catch me on my bike during the summers, and 1000 Acres on the weekend. I'm always down for a new adventure!

RD: Would you rather...

Knit with one base for the rest of your life?

OR

Knit with the same color forever?

Rachael: I would have to go with knit with the same color forever, which would have to be green. I love having a variety of bases and textures available.

Lee: I would knit with one base for the rest of my life, no questions asked! I find myself getting bored with too much of the same thing, so I'd need to be able to change up the colors.

RD: Salty or Sweet ?

Rachael: Big fan of ice cream, Nate's Cookies, Two Twenty Two Pastry, I have a huge sweet tooth!

Lee: Why not have both? I'm always craving something salty, but we love a treat during Crafting Circle!
