At Mabel & Jess, we're committed to beauty, craft, and individuality. Each one of our products is individually handmade or specially selected to meet the needs of the modern knitter. Based fully out of Portland, Oregon we are constantly inspired by our surroundings within the city and beyond.

Seeing a gap within the fiber arts community is how we ended up here. We felt there weren't enough knitting accessories that matched our standards for beauty and simplicity. Our goal is to create and curate knitting accessories that are just as special as the item you're creating.

Join us throughout this festive weekend as we celebrate our 16th year participating in the Rose City Yarn Crawl. Our shop's theme plays an homage to kitschy space imagery featuring aliens, spaceships, and the milky way.

Join us Snnday, March 23rd as we co-host with Tomorrow Theater during a screening of Mars Attacks!

Welcome to: MILLENNIAL MARCH MOVIE MADNESS – a knockout, drag out fight to the finish to decide once and for all which is the best millennial film. Vote on instagram, watch the films at the theater, and follow the bracket as we tally up the points. Our next screening for our EPIC AF BRACKET is Mars Attacks! For this special screening: bring your own knitting, crocheting, and fiber arts to the Tomorrow Theater for this special event co-hosted by RITUAL DYES!

RITUAL DYES will be there to offer assistance and support and has a special giveaway for audience members. We will have the lights on low, an epic film playing, and we can’t wait for you to join us for an afternoon of crafting during a special screening of Mars Attacks!

Stunning landscapes, ancient castles, and charming villages inspire the deep tonal palette of Red Stag Fibre. Created by Josh Graff of Conroe, Texas, each skein is infused with the most unique and picturesque views he has come across during his European travels with his wife. Using a combination of beauty and history, he pulls the storyline of a featured area into each small batch of yarn he hand dyes. Both male and female crafters have come to know and trust Red Stag Fibre for the beautiful color work and garments that can be created with the flavor of Europe in every strand.
