Sari Nordlund is coming to visit!

Aug 1st-3rd
Check out her class series and sign up for an in store class here.

Sari Nordlund lives by the sea in Finland. She’s a professional knitwear designer who also spends most of her free time knitting, despite vowing never again to touch needles and yarn after failed attempts at knitting in her childhood.

Sari’s work has been published in many of the prestigious knitting magazines, such as Laine magazine, Pom Pom Quarterly and Amirisu. Sari has also worked as a freelance designer for leading yarn companies, including Woolfolk and Brooklyn Tweed. Sari’s book “Softly - Timeless knits” came out in October 2023 and it has been an instant bestseller.

Sari’s designing work is inspired by Scandinavian minimalism and Nordic nature. She loves to create timeless classics and brings her love for contemporary Scandinavian design into her knitting patterns. Sari loves knitting cables and all kinds of textured stitches using rustic natural fibers in neutral colors, but doesn’t shy away from color work or lace either.

Olga Jazzy is coming to visit!

Aug 15th-17th
Check out her class series and sign up for an in store class here.
Olgajazzy brand has been established in 2006 by Olga Buraya-Kefelian. As a daughter of a professional tailor, she has acquired her understanding of clothing construction from an early age, which has progressively become more intuitive. This intuition helps her to create imaginative yet versatile knitwear. Conceived as a line for trendy and ultimately wearable knitwear, the brand is ever evolving. Drawing her inspiration from industrial and architectural fields, combined with her passion for European and Japanese design, results in Olga’s knitwear designs infused with innovation. Always seeking to develop new ways to incorporate knitwear in these modern times has prompted for her Transform line to emerge.

Aleks Byrd is coming to visit!

Sept 19th-25th
Check back later for more details.
Aleks Byrd is a knitwear designer and illustrator. When it comes to designing and illustrating knitwear, Aleks Byrd loves to work with many different strands. With a heritage tied to three countries – USA, Estonia and Canada – she has plenty of ideas and inspiration running through her, but tends to play with her Estonian roots in particular, weaving it into new patterns in order to produce modern and unique designs with a connection to the past. As a knitting ambassador for modern traditional Estonian knitting, Aleks has shared her knowledge of the little-known traditional techniques by putting a fresh twist on them for wearable designs. She also teaches these methods in her popular workshops. It's her design background in illustration coupled with her unique ideas and love of colour that shine through in her collection of designs that are fun and rewarding to knit for all levels of knitters.
