Casting on!
There is really no feeling like casting on something new! As I helped my friend (who is new to knitting) begin a project this week and saw how excited she was, it just reminded me how that feeling really never goes away!
I cast on The Uniform Cardigan this week as a sort of replacement to the store bought sweater I am wearing here. I already know it is going to be a big part of my wardrobe and I am so excited to have it in squishy Elder!
I have also just reignited my interest in sewing! Are you a sewist? I seem to always lose it in the finishing and I am trying really hard to slow down and not rush through the entire process. Any tips for a newbie?! You can always reply to this email (and I'll get it!).

Things I like 🖤
Are you finding time to care for yourself during this busy season? Here are some things I plan to do just for me:
-Take a solo walk and drink a cup of my very favorite chai that I can make at home
-Work on a rhythmic, melodic knit like the Clementine Cowl using Spincycle Dyed in the Wool & Maven. Or cast on a familiar pattern that I've made so many times that I have it memorized!
-Pop a gift for myself under the Solstice Tree!
P.S. Having the Zodiac Collection as a constant source of inspiration this past year has been amazing! I think what I enjoyed most (besides getting a deeper understanding of all the individual signs) was having something steady to work on. I have been thinking a lot about what is next and cannot wait to share my new ideas with you!
