Summer Make-A-Long!

Summer Make-A-Long!

Here we go!

It's the official kickoff of the Easy as 1-2-3 Summer Make Along! Please join us on Ravelry!

Do you have any lonely skeins of Ritual Dyes yarn in your stash? Maybe you’ve been wanting to try out one of our color ways or bases. What ever the case may be, it’s time to get inspired!

You can include non-Ritual Dyes yarn too, to bulk up your project, just make sure it’s noted in your project page!

Details:
This Make Along starts Thursday, June 25th and ends at the Fall Equinox on Tuesday, September 22nd.
That means you have 3 whole months to participate!

Did I mention prizes? You could win prizes!
You must create a Ravelry project page, share it in the Easy as 1-2-3 Summer Make Along forum. Be sure to include details about your pattern and yarn choice.

The first 20 people to create a project page and tag us will win one of our pins! Tag your projects with RD123. Understanding that there are currently user/accessibility issues for some members of our community here on Ravelry, we are extending the prize offers to social media as well and will be offering the first 20 people on Instagram. Be sure to tag @ritualdyes and #RD123makealong with your project plans to win a pin! (only one pin per person please)

The Prize information:
There are 3 categories and winners will be randomly selected out of finishers for each category. You can enter multiple times; we want to see all the amazing things you make!

1 skein - Moon Pouch in color of your choice
2 skeins - Trio of Yarn
3 skeins - Knitter’s Backpack!

Let’s get started! What yarn are you using? How long has it been in your stash? What pattern did you choose? What gets you inspired?

Don’t stop adding to the conversation here!
Make sure to keep posting and tag Ritual Dyes.

It’s as easy as 1-2-3!

If you are looking for ideas the Ravelry group has a lot to offer but here are some of my favorite projects to consider for the MAL!

For projects using 1 skein:
These cute Stepping Ahead Socks by Dolly Laishram
The Sol Washcloth from Jacqueline Cieslak
The Everyday Lined Hat from Bayron Handmade
The Rau Mitts from Aroha Knits look like a great travel project!

For projects using 2 skeins:
How about either the Little Ripple Crop for a child or the Ripple Crop from Jessie Maed? I wear mine constantly and I am looking forward to making a mini one.
Scrappy Smarl or Moonset from Tif Neilan? I love both of these so much!

For projects using 3 or more skeins:
The Summer Secret Crop knit up in Undine from Jessie Maed? I can't wait to have one of these knit up.
Of course the Sol Tank from Jacqueline Cieslak!!
Vintage '83 from Andrea Mowry is a favorite.
