An annual Portland experience, the Rose City Yarn Crawl is a four-day event for fiber enthusiasts (knitters, crocheters, spinners, and felters) to explore the many local yarn shops in and around Portland. 2025 will mark our 16th year of celebrating Portland as a yarn and fiber destination!

Lindsay of Superglo Fiber is on the quest to create bright, bold, and neon fibers. And she did it: this is yarn that is truly for color lovers!! We're so excited to have Linday in the shop with us - join us on Thursday to see all of the Superglo exclusive colors IRL.
SPINCYCLE YARNS

Rachel and Kate of Spincycle Yarns started out kettle dyeing and spinning small batches of yarn back in 2004. Their unique process of dyeing to milling their yarn bases create gorgeous slow changing yarns.
LANIVENDOLE

Lanivendole (which means "women who sell yarn") is a two woman operation based out of Genoa, Italy. Stefania and Giulia make their yarn following a short chain production, which is 100% traceable.
SNAKE RIVER JEWELRY

Sofija from Snake River Jewelry believes that jewelry can act as a powerful tool for intention. Sofija's jewelry is thoughtfully formed using the lost wax cast method, carved in Portland, and cast in the the US.
OSHEN KNITS

In 2022, Vanessa and her husband, Dustin, wanted to create a space for them to be creative together, and so ōSHən Fibres and Howlin Bear Fibers were born. Vanessa draws inspiration from her deep love for the ocean and nature, while Dustin draws inspiration from his musical background. All of their hand-dyed yarn is created with intention in Astoria, Oregon.
BAD DOGS STUDIO

Bad Dog Studio is run by sister-brother duo Rachel and Dan. Originally from New Gloucester, Maine the two use a combination of traditional Shaker techniques and modern sensibilities in their beautiful, functional artwork. Rachel creates the ceramics and Dan the wooden wares. They are inspired by their very good very bad dogs.

Ken is a Portland based artist who creates the most intricate and whimsical beaded jewelry. Each piece is handmade and slow woven, bead by bead. Granny squares, tarot related jewelry and more!

SAN JUAN WOOLWORKS

San Juan Woolworks creates yarns that are about as local to the PNW as it can get! Every label names the folks who care for the sheep, gently and skilfully shear them, and spin the raw fleece into yarn. Be sure to look out for her botanically dyes skeins – each one is so unique!
316 DYE STUDIO

Jenny from 316 Dye Studio created the DIY Eco-Printing Kits so you can replicate their gorgeous botanically printed fabrics at home. All of the flowers used in their kits grow right outside their studio door, nestled under the warm Kansas sun.

Founded in Kyoto, Amirisu currently operates from three locations: Kyoto, Tokyo, and their US base in Portland, Oregon. Amirisu features lifestyle knitting magazines available both physically and digitally. They will be sharing some of their beautiful yarn bases.
