Busy, busy!
It’s been a very busy beginning of the year for Ritual Dyes, and we are so grateful to have you dears by our side along the way. I hope that wherever in the world you are, you are embracing the season and finding warmth in the activities that you love with people you enjoy.
I hope you’ve had a chance to check out our new products including patches, pins, and apparel- like shirts and sweaters. The apparel is locally screen printed in Portland. Eventually, we will have a shirt for each zodiac sign! All of the apparel pieces are available in inclusive sizing and look awesome on all body types.
We have added a new all-leather Knitter’s Sling Bag out now, and will have more versions coming out soon! We had so much fun on our collab and fundraiser with Portland Garment Factory. You can check out the bag here. I’m expanding my line of backpacks to include vegan versions and also longer strapped versions to fit everyone comfortably. Stay tuned for a new color to be added to the permanent line!
I’m having so much fun creating colors and products for the cycles of the zodiac, and I can tell that you’re all enthusiastic about it, too! If you feel like you missed out, you can still preorder here.
Join the conversation in the comments here and on the Ravelry group. What’s your sign? Are you true to your zodiac? What characteristics of your sign would you most love to see in that colorway? I forward to your input and inspiration!
You sweet, emotional Pisces:
(February 18 - March 20)
You have an enormous capacity to take care of others physically and emotionally. This time of year, you need to take a break and care for yourself. If you find a gift knit to be to stressful, step away and create yourself a warming hat or scarf. You are loved, and need to remember to you love yourself. A water sign, nothing will rejuvenate you like a ritual soak in the bathtub. Add some chamomile tea bags and epsom salts for a truly relaxing experience.
Those of all signs will notice that with the sun in Pisces, you feel run down in the wait for spring. If you feel yourself lacking inspiration, focus on self care. Go for a walk, or take a long soak in the tub. We love to knit for others and it’s important that with all of the giving, we remember to give back to ourselves. Thank you body for all it does for you and take care of it.
Shape Shifters
It hope it comes as no surprise that I love to work with creative women to create beautiful things. I’m so excited to announce Shape Shifters - a pattern collection using Maven and Elder. Look at the incredible work of designers, Mackenzie Alvarez Hanks, Martha Alvarado, and Sarah Walker on Ravelry. In the late spring, you can expect a rotating trunk show out stockist yarn stores.
