The Ladd's Cardigan from Caitlin Hunter of Boyland Knitworks is knit from the top down, starting with the back knit flat to the armhole split. Then, the front shoulders are picked up and the front shaping is worked flat, separately, to the armhole split. You
then join the fronts and back to work the remainder of the body. The sleeves are picked up and worked in the round. The button bands are then picked up and worked, followed by the neckline. Then, the lace collar is picked up and worked, and finally, i-cords are made and attached.
Caitlin made this pattern using one strand of Ritual Dyes, Maven, our 100% Rambouillet fingering weight wool held together with a strand of Fae, our kid mohair/silk blend throughout. Rachel opted for a non-fuzzy version of this cardigan using one strand of our Sprite base in Bitterbrush.
