We dyed up a handful of colorways inspired by the 2006 Marie Antoinette by Sofia Coppola for the viewing at Tomorrow Theater's Crafternoon.

Let Them Eat Cake is a light peachy-pink paired with a cream, pulling from the sugary sweet colors in the film. There’s so many call backs to cake, macarons, and other baked goods in the film, both explicitly and in the ruffles on her gowns and in adornments in the palace.
-
Dauphine is a frosty mint with hot pink speckles. This colorway pulls from the iconic hot pink typography in the movie poster and the seafoam shades throughout the film.
-
du Barry is a deep, vibrant blue/purple that almost glows. This color was inspired by the silk cape that Louis XVI’s mistress, Madame du Berry, is seen in when she leaves the palace.
