What is tencel? Tencel is made from wood pulp that’s harvested from tree farms that are sustainably managed and traceable. The fiber production itself is more eco-friendly than cotton production due to its’ closed-loop process. This means that up to 99% of the water and solvents used are recycled and reused.
Wash cool on a delicate cycle with non-bio detergent and a gentle spin. Do not tumble. Shake out and dry flat.
The surface texture of Tencel will go more chalky and less sheeny once washed and lived in.
Never dry linen in direct sunlight as the colour can bleach and fade.
If you can submerge the fabric in water before washing to prevent any white lines from appearing.
Add coordinating thread from Gutermann (Sew-All Polyester, 100m/110yds)
**Please note that once cut, fabric is non-returnable. Listing is for 1/2 yard increment. Order the amount you want cut in one piece.**
