The Machi is a relaxed fit with dropped shoulder sweater and knitted bottom up. In the beginning, the front hem and back hem are worked separately and joined at the sides. Continue knitting in the round, in stockinette stitches along with eyelet cables on the sides of the body, up to armholes and under-arm gussets. Next, knit the upper body flat and then join the shoulders with decorative shoulder bands, which continue in Argyle cables to the sleeves.

Recommended to be worn with 10-30 cm / 4-12” positive ease at bust. The sample shown is size 1 with 29 cm / 11-1/2” positive ease.
