Vintage '83 from Andrea Mowry- just released today! This textured top is a perfect spring make. It incorporates a squishy brioche yoke and then moves into a textural, repetitive body. Cute and cropped!Β

I did a quick Q&A with Andrea Mowry and Candice English from The Farmers Daughter Fibers in celebration of our collaboration and to catch up on how it has been going for them.
RD: What are you missing most with our new quarantine life?
AM: My family! My in-laws used to come every week and stay for a night. We loved it (especially my kiddos!) We are really missing their presence here. My mom also got very sick during all of this, and not being able to go see her in Michigan was tough!
RD: What are you enjoying most about our new quarantine life?
AM: Thankfully, I am a shy, introverted homebody - so staying home is pretty much our norm! We have really been focusing on our kids and cooking lots of yummy meals. It feels like the world has gotten much smaller and some of the outside distractions are temporarily gone.
RD: What is your favorite way to style this cute new top? AM: Overalls! Forever and always ;) Same questions with Candice from FDF
RD: What are you missing most with our new quarantine life? CE: I am missing my Mom and Sister but mostly my new baby niece I have only got to see once. I am knitting her a wardrobe for a queen with all this alone time!
RD: What are you enjoying most about our new quarantine life?
CE: Knitting! Slowing down with my kids, making lots of plant medicine, and getting creative around FDF!
RD: What is your favorite way to style this cute new top?
CE: I have been wearing mine with high waisted Levis and a jean jacket. Can you ever go wrong with the Canadian Tuxedo?!

I have been diving deep into cooking at my house! Andrea Mowry gifted me a great vegan cookbook, Isa Does It! and it is filled with easy and delicious vegan recipes.
My Sisters United hooded sweatshirt has been a really cozy uniform for me since I received it from Candice last week. If you haven't already done so, check out the initiative started by Candice to help support Native Women, youth and communities.
Taproot Magazine is now shipping "Issue 38: Forage" which includes a pattern from Annie Lupton featuring Elder, our climate-beneficial, US grown & milled rambouillet. It is a squishy and beautiful shawl design, I can't wait to knit it!
