This is a series of classes designed to walk you through knitting the Wine Club Cardigan by Sari Nordlund. Over three classes and two check-in sessions, we will provide instruction and support for the techniques and construction used to make the cardigan. Students will walk away with all the skills needed to complete their cardigan and any other garments using the same methods! This class is perfect for those wanting to take part in the KAL but want in-person instruction and support through the process. 

Session 1: January 31st, 10 am-12 pm
The first class will cover shoulder construction for the cardigan. In this class you will learn how to increase on the RS and WS, pick up stitches, and do raglan increases.

Check In Session: February 14th, 10am-12pm
This check-in session will provide personalized support for trouble areas brought by students.

Session 2: February 28th, 10am-12pm
The second class will cover splitting the sleeves and body and sleeve decreases.

Check-in Session: March 28th, 10am-12pm
This check-in session will provide personalized support for trouble areas brought by students.

Session 3: April 11th, 10am-12pm
The third class will cover how to create a double-knit button band and finishing your garment, including casting off, weaving in ends, and blocking.

Materials (not included)

• Wine Club Cardigan pattern by Sari Nordlund
• Yarn needed for your desired size
• Needles and notions needed for your gauge

Students must be comfortable knitting and purling. 

Instructors
Classes will be led by RD staff, Rachael or Stina, who some of you may know from our weekly Crafting Circle.

Cancellation Policy
Classes require a minimum of 3 students. An emailed notification of cancellation will be sent 2 days before the class if the minimum is not met. In the case of shop cancellation, all registered students will be refunded the class fee. Any additional fees including materials and the shipping of materials are non-refundable. Student cancellations, missed classes or no-shows can not be refunded, exchanged or transferred.
