We teamed up with Chloe Benjamin and Sari Nordlund to celebrate the release of Chloe’s new book, Under Story. This knitting collaboration started over a year ago, and it’s so lovely to see these patterns and yarn finally come to life. 

As a knitter herself, Chloe has woven fiber arts into her new book, Under Story. We’ve dyed up some yarn inspired by the story, and Sari has designed two stunning patterns to go along with them.

The Under Story Cardigan features all-over cablework, referencing the sweater that Laurel herself is working on in the story. Originally designed in our Smoke colorway, this is a timeless knit with a collar and double knit button band.

You can choose from our Smoke colorway on Marona, or we’ve dyed up two custom colorways to hold Maven and Fae together. Marona is a 100% Cormo non-superwash yarn that has the perfect stitch definition for cable work while remaining soft and squishy. The Maven color, Under Story, for this pattern is an understated peachy pink that allows the brighter Fae colorway, The Arc, to glow with its soft halo. These colors and textures are inspired by the Arc and the palette used in the book cover’s illustration.
