"The word ‘lumikello’ is the Finnish name for snowdrop flower. The beanie got its inspiration from snowdrop flower that bloom in the late winter and beginning of spring. When ever I see snowdrops peeking through the snow, I know that spring is on its way!" - Jenny Ansah
The Lumikello Beanie is an earthly design which has beautiful cable pattern around the beanie that resemble flowers in bloom. The beanie is knitted bottom up with a strand of DK weight wool together with a strand of silk mohair to add a beautiful halo. The cable pattern has a part that has been modified from a cable chart found in Hitomi Shida’s Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible.
