Hyacinth Top from Andrea Gaughan is a summery tank top featuring all-over eyelet lace and minimalistic i-cord finishing. Worked in our Undine DK, a cotton linen blend, this top knits up quickly and is perfect for wearing in warm weather and great for layering!

This pattern is gender and size inclusive with two fit options each graded to ten sizes. Optional waist shaping is included for all sizes. Because it is knit top-down, it is straightforward to customize the length and/or amount of waist shaping to match your own personal preference.

Note: This top is designed to be worn with approximately 0” / 0 cm of ease at the
bust/chest. If you are between sizes, size up if you prefer a looser fitting garment and size down if you prefer a more fitted garment.

Fit I v Fit II
Fit I is graded based on a traditional women’s sizing chart and has a narrower neckline,
narrower straps, a shorter armhole depth, and a shorter body.

Fit II is graded based on a traditional men’s sizing chart and has a wider neckline, wider straps, a deeper armhole depth, and a longer body.

If you are a mix between fit types, choose the one that is closest to your preferred fit in the neckline and armholes, then modify the body to your desired length.

All hand dyed yarn is unique and no two skeins will be exactly alike. Please purchase enough yarn to complete your project. Alternating skeins is the best way to prevent possible pooling, flashing or a sudden shift of color. It's easy! Just work 1-2 row stripes from two balls of yarn (carrying the yarn up the side).
