Learn to weave unique hair clips with beautiful glass beads! In this class we will design stunning checkered hair clips (or brooches) using Ken's Tila Bead collection. Ken will guide you through the process of handweaving your own beaded piece. All materials provided. No experience necessary, but you should be comfortable working with very small needles and beads.

- To take this class, you must be comfortable working with a needle and very tiny beads!

Instructor
Ken's work is inspired by nostalgia and joy and her aesthetic intention behind each piece is "elevated whimsy"—something playful that sparks your inner child, but still speaks of glamour. Each piece is lovingly designed and handmade by Ken in Portland, OR. When Ken isn't beading (rare!), you might find her plotting a murder mystery party, country swinging, or trying her hand at a new craft skill.
Cancellation Policy
Classes require a minimum of 3 students. An emailed notification of cancellation will be sent 2 days before the class if the minimum is not met. In the case of shop cancellation, all registered students will be refunded the class fee. Any additional fees including materials and the shipping of materials are non-refundable. Student cancellations, missed classes or no-shows can not be refunded, exchanged or transferred.
**CLASS IS IN PERSON AT OUR STORE ON 3300 SE BELMONT ST, PORTLAND, OR. Please note that there is a set of stairs leading to our main classroom. If these stairs present a barrier for you in any way, please let us know by email so we can make the appropriate arrangements.**
