Now that you know the basic building blocks of knitting, maybe you’re ready to move on to some advanced beginner fundamental techniques. Welcome to Knit 102! This two-part class is designed for people with some basic knitting experience who want to take the next step and build new skills to help in making new projects. In part I we will cover:
- provisional cast on
- knitting in the round
- yarn over
- knit 2 together
- folding over a brim
In part II we will cover:
- problem-solving
- decreasing
- magic loop
Materials (not included)
- Worsted weight yarn
- US 7 knitting needles
- 16 inch circular
- US 8 knitting needles
- 16 inch circular
- 32 inch circular OR double pointed needles
- Stitch markers
- 4.5mm/E crochet hook OR stitch fixer

- Sundays, July 12th & 26th: 1 - 3 pm

Cancellation Policy
Classes require a minimum of 3 students. An emailed notification of cancellation will be sent 2 days before the class if the minimum is not met. In the case of shop cancellation, all registered students will be refunded the class fee. Any additional fees including materials and the shipping of materials are non-refundable. Student cancellations, missed classes or no-shows can not be refunded, exchanged or transferred.
**CLASS IS IN PERSON AT OUR STORE ON 3300 SE BELMONT ST, PORTLAND, OR. Please note that there is a set of stairs leading to our main classroom. If these stairs present a barrier for you in any way, please let us know by email so we can make the appropriate arrangements.**
