- Calypso Collar Kit by CuriousLee
This pattern was originally published as Ritual Dyes’ contribution to the 2026 Rose City Yarn Crawl, March 5-8, 2026 in Portland, Oregon.
"Add a dash of whimsy to any outfit with the Calypso Collar. The pattern starts from the lower edge with some garter rows followed by a gorgeous lace motif (with optional beads) and I-cord ties to finish the collar neatly. There are a lot of techniques used throughout, video support can be found in helpful links. I suggest using a plant based yarn, or a yarn with little to no stretch (avoid superwash and nylon)."
10% of all RCYC kit sales are donated to NARA! Founded in 1970 in Portland, Oregon, the Native American Rehabilitation Association of the Northwest, Inc. is an American Indian-owned and operated non-profit agency. Originally an outpatient substance abuse treatment center, NARA NW now operates treatment centers, services centers, clinics, and transitional housing for AI/AN participants. All services are centered on the family as it is NARA NW’s philosophy that without the family circle there will be no future.
