In this class we will be knitting the ultra chic Manhattan Hat – a perfect first hat pattern! This class is intended for folks with little or no knitting experience. We will be learning how to cast on, knit, and purl in the round as well as decreases. Skills to come with: ability to read written instructions and an excitement to learn something new!

Saturday, February 4th from 10 am - 12 pm 

Materials (Not included)

• Manhattan Hat pattern
• 285 yards worsted weight yarn (Recommended: Elder)
• US 5 12-16” circular knitting needles 

While having dabbled in many crafts, Becca (she/her) has been primarily a knitter for 15+ years and is passionate about the joy in the process of making. Becca is currently a graduate student at Portland State University and spends her free time knitting, beading or reading. Originally from Maine, Becca now lives in Portland with her fiancé and very cute cat.  

Classes require a minimum of 3 students. An emailed notification of cancellation will be sent 2 days before the class if the minimum is not met. In the case of shop cancellation, all registered students will be refunded the class fee. Any additional fees including materials and the shipping of materials are non-refundable. Student cancellations, missed classes or no-shows can not be refunded, exchanged or transferred.
