The hooded Landgate is chic yet workaday and features a drawstring waist and side and front pocket options. This is Merchant & Mill's first pattern for both men and women.

For the men’s pattern you lengthen the pattern where indicated.

Please note this is a ‘pull over your head’ jacket so you will need room to manuever.

Dry Oilskin, Cotton Oilskin, Sanded Cotton Twill, denims, heavier weight corduroy

Using 47 inch width fabric (120 cm)

• 6 - 8: 2 3/4 / 3 yards (2.6 / 2.75 m)
• 10 - 12: 3 / 3 1/6 yards (2.75 / 2.9 m)
• 12 - 14: 3 1/8 / 3 1/3 yards (2.85 / 3 m)
• 14 - 16: 3 1/3 / 3 1/2 yards (3 / 3.15 m)
• 16 - 18; 3 1/2 / 3 5/8 yards (3.15 / 3.3 m)

Using 55 inch width fabric (140 cm)

• 6 - 8: 2 1/2 / 2 5/8 yards (2.2 /2.35 m)
• 10 - 12: 2 5/8 / 2 3/4 yards (2.35 / 2.5 m)
• 12 - 14: 2 5/8 / 2 3/4 yards (2.35 / 2.5 m)
• 14 - 16: 2 7/8 / 3 1/8 yards (2.65 / 2.8 m)
• 16 - 18; 2 7/8 / 3 1/8 yards (2.65 / 2.8 m)

Webbing or drawstring cord

• 2 3/4 yards (2.5 m) of 5/8 / 1 inch (15 mm / 25 mm) 

Lining

• 1/3 yard (.25 m) for side pocket bags

Optional 2 metal eyelets approx 7mm internal diameter. You can make buttonholes as an alternative to eyelets.

Fusible interfacing for pockets and buttonholes/eyelets.

6 inch (16 cm) metal zipper
